About the event

To catch you up, on Tuesday, August 23rd the Georgia DNR - Coastal Resource Division presented its proposed new Redfish (red drum) regulations to the Board of Natural Resources. The proposed changes out for public comment are a three-fish daily limit per person, a maximum limit of nine red drum per vessel and a no captains’ harvest with no recommendations for slot changes. These proposed changes are now currently out for public comment until October 6th and two meetings will be held to receive public feedback and comments.
